Saving Panama's Rainforest

ANAM recently reported that they lack the budget, on the Costa Rican - Panamanian border, to properly patrol this area. Consequently most of the valuable hardwood trees have been decimated. The same problem exists in the Darien.Let's assume that an NGO provides you with $1 million to save Panama's rainforests. How would you spend this money wisely? And, what international assets, corporations and foundations would you call upon to assist you.See More

Such wealth may soon depart

As the jungle sings its gentle song

Its melody makes me sigh

Abundant wealth, endangered now

Invites an Indian’s cry

Will you cut me, will you drown me

My soul is longing to know

Or will you save me, will you show me

How I may fully grow

Sawed to pieces or standing… Continue
